Cable car to Kanin

Kanin cable car from Bovec won't be running in summer 2014, but there is alternative from Sella Nevea (Italy)

 
Road from Raibl lake to Sella Nevea is opened again. Cable car from italian side will start on 12th of July. More info on this link: http://www.promotur.org/code/16586/Calendario-aperture.

Cable car to Mt.Lussari will be opened every day from 14th July until 14th September. On workdays from 9AM until 5:15PM and on sundays and holidays from 8:15AM until 5:15PM. More info on this link: http://www.promotur.org/code/16462/Calendario-aperture.

 
 
Vrsic pass opened

Vrsic pass is opened again after a regular winter closure. As there are still winter condition on the top of tha pass, it is opened only for personal veicheles and coation is reccomended. More info about slovenia traffic on Slovenian Traffic Condisiton website

FREE Ski-Bus for guests of Bovec

Due to closure of gondola from Bovec to Kanin, Local tourist Bovec will in winter season 2013/14 organize a FREE shutlle bus to Sella Nevea or Tarviso ski resort. If you would like to use thi service during your stay in our accommodation, please let us know.
 
 
Kanin ski resort remains closed in winter13/14

Due to liquidtion of company ATC Kanin, who operated ski resort, will resort remain closed in skiing season 2013/14. Kanin resort was in 2007 linked with italian resort Sella nevea, which will operate normally.
 
 
European Canoeing Championship Soca 2013

The Soča river flirts with the paddles of kayakers, particularly in the year 2013. From 9 to 12 May, you can see with your own eyes (or paddles) how whitewater rapids and paddles intertwine in the Bovec and Kobarid region – an event that has not taken place for two decades.
